Hacksaw  Ridge

Hacksaw Ridge is a true story of a soldier beliefs during world war II. PFC Desmond T Doss (Andrew Garfield Amazing Spider-Man movies) enlists to join the army where he wanted to help the us army with out using a weapon. When he is in training he refuses to pick up a rifle. So therefore he faces obstacles with Sergeant Howell ( Vince Vaughn) and Captain Glover (Sam Worthington).

While his fiancee (Teresa Palmer) is waiting at the alter waiting for Doss to show she realizes that something has happened to Doss and goes to the base to find out he his being court martial for following his religious belief.  So she calls for his family support. And his father (Hugo Weaving ) comes calling.

After his father help the army lets him fight for his county without a weapon. He rejoins his platoon and is shipped off to be a medic.

This movie kept me interested from the start with his relationship with his whole family when he was younger to when he met his wife. Then when he joined the army following his older brother. To what he did when he was in the army.  Mel Gibson did an excellent job at putting this together and the cast did a great job. Very graphic battle for those who can not take seeing blood.
